I couldn't go on a bird watching trip last Sunday due to logistic issues. Armed with a macro lens, I decided to take a closer inspection of nature in and around my garden. Here's a photo tour...
Almond fruits...
Green Bottle Fly...
Parachutes of Prickly sow-thistle dandelions...
A caterpillar with amazing body markings...
Colocasia leaf...
Tendrils of Passion fruit vine...
Midrib and veins of a leaf...
A green spider...
Fennel flowers...
wow truly awesome. Great macro clicks.

ReplyDeleteI love the things that you found worthy of photographing--they are things that I would capture, too! The details in your images are superb!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should stay home more often (humor ...) if this is what you can find in your garden!

ReplyDeleteEach shot is a work of art, but that bottle fly! Who would have thought a fly could be considered beautiful. Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteAmazing macros! An absolute wealth of beauty and wonder just beneath our gaze!
ReplyDeleteso lovely and clear
ReplyDeleteincredible.
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning macros Shiju... absolutely breathtaking. I'm most amazed at that one seed pod that looks like a bird in flight. All the flowers and plants are beautiful 'up close', but it is the insects that I think are most incredible. You show us beauty in creatures we might not necessarily think of in that way -- but obviously we should. Stunning!! Thanks for sharing these.
ReplyDeleteIt is all so amazing. Plus your photography skills are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteFantastic captures!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are breath-taking! Marvelous images!
