Bangalore Flower Show 2018

The January edition of the biannual flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bangalore just concluded. I and my 11 year old were there on one of the days and were mesmerized by the gorgeous flowers on display. Here's a photo tour of the flowers and critters...

A Grey Heron flies...



An Oriental Darter catches fish...


A Brahminy Kite lurks around and engage in a dog fight to snatch the fish from the Darter's mouth...


The Darter wins and manages to catch and eat three fishes...


The third fish was the showstopper...
