This was my first visit to Muthanallur lake near Bangalore. Splashed across with fantastic views, the place seemed like a creation, specially carved for the beautiful birds that lurk around. Here's what I explored...
A little slice of paradise...
Chestnut-tailed starling...
A tiny Spotted owlet was spotted in the woods. See where the arrow is pointing...
Here are some closeup shots of the spotted owlet...
A panorama of the place where I found the spotted owlet. Click and drag to look around...
Black drongo...
Some creative posing by Grey-headed swamphen...
Blyths Reed Warbler...
Indian golden oriole...
Glossy Ibis...
Pied Bushchat...
Another scenic view...
Plain tiger butterfly...
Indian golden oriole (female)...
Rose-ringed parakeet...
Male Crimson marsh glider dragonfly...
Indian golden oriole (immature)...
White-throated kingfisher...
Some truly gorgeous bird pics here. Really good captures.
