Nibble and Gulp at High


Small eaters can go gaga over the Nibble and Gulp festival currently being held at High Ultra lounge, Bangalore. Xiao Chi, which literally means ‘Small Eats’, is an inevitable part of Asian cuisine. High is serving a range of Asian Tapas to nibble accompanied by colorful shooters to gulp.

Oriental style deep fried shrimp skewer with Japanese bread crumbs and unamayo...


Son of godfather- Jim beam, amaretto and fresh lime shaken to perfection.


Mini California maki with topping of crab salsa...


Gold dust- Cinnamon infused whisky shaken with apple juice.

Devil sour- Devil is always risky after whisky, pink grapefruit juice and fresh lime.


Asian style mini chicken satay with homemade chili dipping and Asian herbs...


First kiss- A blend of gin, rose water, fresh lime and litchi juice...


Rice cracker with vegetable salsa...


Shrimp cracker with salmon and avocado salsa...


High Idea- An idea of layering vodka, Malibu and blue curacao...


Every dish on the menu is a hit...


Asian style mini sweet corn fried with chili dipping...



Kokum lover- Kokum flavored vodka stirred with cranberry juice...


High special Chicken gyoza with homemade soya chili dipping...





The delectable food and drink combinations keep your tongue guessing...

Shooting star- A combination of gin, fresh lime, cinnamon and orange blossom.


After having all the imaginatively rendered small eats, the main course was a story of comfort and simplicity.

And the charming dessert...


The fare can be memorable enough to be your last meal. I was quite dazzled by the crazy gourmet circus.
