Alphabe-Thursday - Q for Quail eggs

Quails are small, plump terrestrial birds. Quail eggs are considered a delicacy in many countries. I liked the spotted texture of the eggs. Posted under Alphabe-Thursday's Letter Q

  2. Those are so pretty...I don't think I've ever had quail eggs! If they are as good as they are pretty though, I'd certainly try them...

  9. Nice photo, Shiju. When I was growing up, my mother worked for a doctor who owned a farm that raise pheasant and quail. He often let me collect the eggs and we'd have a quail egg omelet ( it would take plenty of them ). We'd also get a steady supply of pheasants and quail to eat...very tasty when done right. I also like sushi with raw quail eggs top.
