Morning walk at Jakkur lake

My Sunday morning walk at Jakkur lake was so picturesque with blue sky and fluffy clouds. You are guaranteed to spot a lot of critters along the 4 km track encircling the lake. The views will soothe you as much as the birds frustrate you with their mysterious ways.
Here's a photo tour...

Pelican framed...

Female Loten's Sunbird...

Black Drongo...

Dragonfly...

Brahminy Kite...

Chameleon in its hard-to-spot camouflage...

Green Bee-eater with its catch...

This one is surely feeling left out...

Male Baya Weaver...

Baya weavers weave beautiful nests...

Another dragonfly. See the colorful shadow seeping through its wings...

Lesser whistling ducks...

Green Bee Eater...

Purple-rumped Sunbird...

Painted Stork...

Pelicans in synchronous swimming...

Spot-billed duck...

Shells...

Spotted dove...

White-cheeked Barbet...

Excitement on seeing bees...

Common Kingfisher...

Amusing to see its tail go up when it stretches its neck...
