ReplyDeleteWow, lots of colors and motion going on in your skies! I love the third photo best, the one you used for your thumbnail. Great perspective! The one of the three helicopters flying in formation made me cringe a bit - so dangerous, those spinning rotors getting to close to each other! Those pilots have amazing skill. And who can't love the Tiger Moth, that one is my favorite plane in the bunch. Thanks for sharing this fun and colorful series!

Of course, being a great fan of yellow I love that yellow biplane. I grew up flying in small airplanes, thanks to the doctor my mother worked for for 20 years. We also went to airshows which were always thrilling. Yours had such a wonderful variety and your photographs are stunning. Having once been married to an Air Force captain ( he was also a private pilot )and, as the mother of a son who is an Air Force reservist, I've seen some amazing planes on display at various bases. My son,Shawn, works on the computer navigation systems for both the C-5 and C-17 Air Force planes ( and I used to worry that he might not get the memory put in my computer correctly ).
ReplyDeleteEvery year in October, the U.S. Navy holds Fleet Week in San Francisco. the blue Angels always perform and San Francisco thrills to several days of practice and the final show. The planes to their acrobatics over the Golden Gate Bridge which is really exciting.
