Pizzas, pastas and more!

I was invited to Café Mangii, Bangalore to review the ongoing Pizza Festival.

Here's a photo tour...

Café Mangii is located on the 3rd floor of Orion Mall. The view of the majestic World Trade Center compliments the alfresco ambiance...

The wood fired oven is ready...

My boy is eager to see the pizzas being made...

We start with the Minestrone soup...

Ham Burger...

Meanwhile, the pizzas are topped...

And, they go into the oven...

There are other things to be had while the pizzas are baked.
Buffalo Wings...

Mezze Platter...

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad...

Watermelon and Feta Salad...

Spaghetti Aglio E Olio...

Fusilli Mama Rosa...

Spaghetti has always been one of his favorite foods...

The Pizzas are ready.
Gringo chilly pizza..

Desi Pizza...

Calzone Carneltini...

Calzone Carneltini is a pizza stuffed with chicken ham salami, smoked ham, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ricotta mushrooms and caramelized onions...

The French Connection...

The boy loved it...

Some drinks...

Tandoori Chicken Pizza...

Peri Peri Chicken Pizza...

Loved this too...

Singaporean Merlion Pizza prepared with Garlic tossed calamari, grilled fish shreds, red onions, cherry tomatoes and roasted garlic...

Garlic Butter Prawns...

Should have left some space for dessert...

There's always space for Brownie...

and Apple tart...

and Bailey Chocolate Mousse..

and Tiramisu...

The boy finally turns into an elf after eating all the magically yummy food...

Café Mangii has some good selection of wines...

And also a heavy selection of scotches to choose from...

Many thanks to the hosts Kaushik and Deepak for inviting us to a wonderful afternoon...

  3. Oh wow. It's barely sunrise here as I view this, but my tummy is definitely tuned it to the pizza shots. The Gringo Pizza made me laugh. I had Italian last night, but I was too tired and hungry to worry about pictures. We had bruschetta, pasta with red sauce infused with vodka, and cannelloni. Good stuff, that Italian food, isn't it?

  9. I'm sipping a glass of excellent California sauvignon blanc ( trying to fortify myself before my return to India in three months ) before heading to bed. Checking your blog at bedtime isn't a wise idea, then I find myself wanting to prowl the kitchen for snacks, none of which can compare with your tempting array of pizzas and assorted dishes, so wonderfully photographed by you and consumed by one handsome Nishu who seems to be acquiring Papa's love for good food. How lucky for him to be able to experience some of these fine dishes.
