Banjara - gypsies of India

The Banjara are a class of nomadic people from the north-west part of Inda. 


Women are known to wear colorful costumes and silver ornaments

    1. Thank you Ritu. I was trying to take the picture surreptitiously, but she noticed and started posing. This is the only picture I clicked as I find pictures of people staring at the camera quite dull. It must be fun to actually be around the tribal folks. Please do share the pictures on your blog.

  5. What a fabulous photograph. She seems quite stern to me but her colorful attire offsets it a bit. To be honest, she seems to have very masculine features...at least, to me, she does.
