    1. The bird is sitting on a Karmal tree. Karmal is a large deciduous tree that grows up to 40 meters in height. The flower-buds and young fruits have a pleasant, acid flavor and are eaten raw or cooked. It has many medicinal properties. It pacifies anal fistula, wounds, diabetes, diabetic carbuncle, neuritis, pleurisy, pneumonia, and burning sensation.

  33. What a gorgeous bird...reminds me of the Indian golden oriole that used to visit us every morning in Mumbai. I've always loved yellow flowers. Remember that beautiful yellow tree in bloom at the church in Mysore? That was such a special day in my 68 years. I'll never forget it and the chauffeur who was kind enough to show me that part of India!!!
