  23. @Valerie Purple-rumped Sunbird is endemic to the Indian sub-continent. They are small in size and feed mainly on nectar and sometimes insects. I captured this picture when a group of four were savoring nectar from a coconut tree. They are extremely active. They don't stay long at one place and are constantly on the move making it very difficult to photograph. I have noticed that they return to the same place after some time. The best way to capture is not by running behind them but wait for them to return.
