Mr. Cleansor

I was quite amazed by the appearance of this little Caterpillar. It looked like something carrying a number of scrubbers and brushes. I just named him Mr. Cleansor. :)

  1. I have never seen anything like this before. He looks as if he is off to work carrying his numerous brushes on his back.

  3. He is really quite the critter. I wonder if it feels prickly, like a porcupine. Did you touch him?

  6. @RNSANE No, I didn't touch him. I make it a point never to bother or disturb the critters I photograph. I don't think it feels prickly. It is covered with dense growth of silky threadlike structures. The extreme close-up probably makes the hairs look like thorns.
