Reminds me of the koi at the incredible Buddhist temple in Kaneohe, Hawaii. They are almost scary as they leap all over each other to get the food thrown in by tourists. I've never actually seen pirhana feed but it's how I think they would be if a carcass would fall into the water....no comment about how well they would eat if I ended up in the Amazon, Shiju.
Years ago when we used to go to the lakes we would feed popcorn to the carp and they would go crazy. One minute you would see one or two or them and as soon as the popcorn was in the air there would suddenly be dozens of them. The kids would have so much fun and no matter how much popcorn we fed them it never seemed to be enough. Not sure if new fish were showing up or they were just very hungry.

They can be easily hand fed as they have no teeth. The hand in the picture is of my five year old son.

Koi will recognize the persons feeding them and gather around them at feeding times.
