It was nice to watch the sunrise. Rohan enjoyed watching the birds flying in flocks...

Saw a wedge of Ibises. Yes, a group of ibises is called a wedge, probably due to the wedge like shape they form in flight…

You have a beautiful family. Wonderful photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend! PS, thanks for the visit and comment.
Lots of good reasons for a staycation.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that you and your handsome family had a nice outing. It is always good to get away from the mundane. What luck to have a black kite so close. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteA very good idea when the weather is hopeless. You go away, but plan to stay indoors. Nice sunsets, though.
ReplyDeletePerfect trip. And such a very handsome family!! Your wife sitting on the window ledge is magazine perfection!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely family get together you had. Seems like you all found lots to do indoors without worrying about the rain. And yes , a border will always find a bird or two wherever they are in the world.
ReplyDelete...it nice to see your lovely family! It chilly and raining here today, a good day to stay inside.
ReplyDeleteWonderful hotel, wonderful family. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! The Ibises in flight are really beautiful and I love seeing photos of your family! I raised 4 sons and know how much fun having boys can be! Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of your lovely family! Nice skies too.

Wonderful to just relax, enjoy family time, and have someone else to do the cooking and the cleaning!
ReplyDeleteI especially enjoyed the sunset photos
Such wonderful family pictures...& it's nice
ReplyDeleteyou managed birds. Manju is beautiful, Rohan & Nishant rival their papa's good looks.

ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed your pics, and I feel really relaxed having viewed them!
ReplyDeleteLove the rain, chess and all your photos. Oh my goodness, your family is total delight. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteA great series of your staycation. You capture your wife so well, I love her in that grey dress! Didn't know you had two sons:) This makes you older than I thought you were, haha. That first, looks like an American breakfast. Ever tried a Swedidsh smargesboard? - I think you would like it. Even on your outing you see a bird! A great and fun post, Shiju! Emille
ReplyDeleteThe buffet spread was similar to Swedish smörgåsbord, a massive number of dishes from a variety of cuisines. I usually pick 5 or 6 of my favorites.
DeleteQuality time with the family is precious.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words

So nice of you guys to take some time out like this. I'm sure is was a great break and you made some lovely memories as a family. Beautiful. :)
Gee!!! Good looks sure run in your family!!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the rain but it is pretty obvious that you all had fun and enjoyed bonding throughout the lovely staycation. I sure would not mind going for one like that too but no nice hotel resorts in our little small town.
What a beautiful family you are. It looks like you had a fabulous time together, and that's the most wonderful thing in the world.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family. We used to take a summer trip up to Toronto Canada to see a theatre show and to take the ferry out to one of the islands… I hope to do that with my grandchildren when they are a bit older…. Michelle
ReplyDeleteHi Shiju, You have a wonderful family! Thanks for sharing all the photos!
