Colors of summer

Hoskote is presently awash with plenty of  colorful birds and butterflies. Here are some pictures I clicked on my Saturday morning birding trip...

The landscape and the beautiful sky...

A spot-billed pelican was getting ready to fly...

It takes off with a splash...

and another splash...

Female Baya weaver...

Ashy prinia...

I walked further and found few more really active spot-billed pelicans...

 Pied Bushchat...

Paddyfield pipit...

The Bulrush reed is still dispersing cottony fluff. It was bothersome as my clothes seemed to be pulling all the fluff...

But the Bengal weaver seemed to love the fluff...

A Tricolored Munia was also spotted in the reeds...

Red Avadavat aka Strawberry Finch...

I left the reed area and walked further...

Indian Silverbill...The other trees were also covered with fluff...

I walked to the grassland...

High up on a tree, a bird seemed to have caught something big...

I zoomed in to find a Paddyfield pipit with a dragonfly...

It looked quite overwhelmed by the big catch...

It flew down with the kill...

Juvenile Pied bushchat...

Indian Silverbill couple...

Pioneer butterfly...

You can weave many stories of romance, loneliness, jealousy etc. out of the Indian silverbill flocks...

Gray heron...

Plain tiger butterfly...

Some more Indian silverbills were spotted...

A juvenile White-browed wagtail...

Eurasian Coot...

Little Grebe...

An Ashy prinia was screaming its lungs out...

Many butterflies were spotted hovering around Bachelor's button flowers...

 Blue tiger butterfly...

 Common crow butterfly...

Junonia hierta, the Yellow pansy butterfly...

Painted lady butterfly...

Lemon Pansy butterfly...

Blue Pansy butterfly...

  13. Very colourful pictures, Shiju! We see Pelicans everyday fly and settle near the Lake where we live and I'm tempted to take their pictures. Must be so tricky capturing them on the camera.

  36. Haha, the prize of the dragonfly:) The three in a row speaks about community! I smile when I see a small bird, being so aggressively screaming its lungs out:) The blue butterfly has stolen my heart. Right after that, comes the highly fashionable black and white. Many beautiful details you captured. Also love the header of someone catching the photographer! Many thanks for linking to All Seasons! Hope for some cool days in your hot summer:)

  41. Hi everyone my name is Anna and I have a testimony. It all started 7 months ago when my husband left me because I was not able to give birth after 6 years of marriage. When he broke up with me,I was no longer myself,I felt so empty inside me. I wondered for a long time, until a friend of mine told me about one spells caster that helped her in a similar situation that she found on a television program, She encouraged me to contact the spell caster and i emailed the spell caster and I told him my problem and I did what he asked me. To cut the story short, after some few days, my husband came back to me and told me that he's ready to wait until I'm able to give him a child. Now I'm so happy to tell anyone that is reading this testimony that I'm 9 weeks pregnant at as when this testimony was written. Which is why I will continue to  testifying about the good work he has done for me and my family. If you are in any circumstance, I urge you to contact him via the email address
(dr.alusistanley@gmail.com)or WhatsApp +2348146050373 .I assure you that you his is capable to put an end to whatever situation you are facing.
