Wonderchef Sanjeev Kapoor comes to town

Sanjeev Kapoor, the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine was in Bangalore to launch two of his new restaurants at Church Street, 'The Yellow Chilli' and 'Hong Kong'.

Here's a photo tour...

Sanjeev Kapoor needs no introduction. His global chain of restaurants now boasts of 10 brands in 11 countries with 75 restaurants. He even has his own TV channel called FoodFood.

But my favorite thing about Sanjeev Kapoor is his smile. And here he says, "When you are cooking, cook with a smile and it will work"...

Such a joy to watch the master at work. Sheer magic in his stirring, tossing, mixing and plating...

Within minutes the Murg Tikka was ready...

The menu in The Yellow Chilli draws inspiration from the North-West Frontier with delicacies from the Mughal era and specific regions of Punjab.

The menu in Hong Kong draws inspiration from the cuisines served across Asia especially in Hong Kong; from a Cantonese fare to the understated Japanese food to unusual combinations from Malaysia.

Hope to post a detailed review of their offerings soon...

Snapped a pic with the legend...
