Easter Sunday found me and my family at Crowne Plaza, Bangalore enjoying a well planned Easter Sunday Brunch. It turned out to be a fantastic day for my eight year old. There were games, some exciting desserts and an egg hunt.
Here's a photo tour of the exhaustive variety of delicious surprises...
Cosy seating...
Live music...
Indoor golf and feed the clown...
"You should eat more of these veggies"...
Will worry about veggies later... these starters look really good...
Batter fried fish...
Margarita...
Batter fried chicken...
Cheese...
Samosa...
Egg bonda...
Turkey...
The kid also got his caricature done...
Dimsums...
Coq Au Vin - Chicken and onions and mushrooms braised in red wine and seasonings...
Ravas bake with Almond crunch crust...
Roasted Beet and Turnip with parsley...
Quzi is a rice based dish popular in Iraq. It is served with very slow cooked lamb and roasted nuts and raisins...
Goan Ros Omelette...
Loved this show piece made from dried Bottle gourd...
My plate with Smoked Salmon and Tuna...
Lamb biriyani...
Sangria...
Seared Tenderloin with Grain Mustard sauce...
Egg Hunt...
everything looks yummy
ReplyDeleteYour Easter Brunch looks far more interesting - and entertaining - than ours was!!
ReplyDeleteThe calories on Easter, Christmas, and Birthday meals don't count.
ReplyDeleteMy SIGNS, SIGNS
So much beautiful food - some would be hard to eat it is so masterfully designed. Looks like a wonderful Easter was had by all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular feast and it's nice that Manju and Nishu got to experience such an Easter extravaganza as well. I'm sure that made it all the more special for you. We had a pretty quiet day here since Laura had a 7PM to 7AM shift heading into Easter Sunday. When she woke up about 3PM, we had our own brunch at home which she'd prepared the evening before and hid eggs and a basket out front for Harper to find. Fun but not nearly like your gala.
ReplyDeleteLess than a month and I'll return to my second home. Miss talking to you!!!
