This is an optically produced tilt-shift effect, shot from the 13th floor of a tower. To know more about the technique, you can read 'An Introduction to Tilt-Shift Photography' from the Digital Photography School.

DeletePermission was not sought. You can't get a candid photograph if your subject is conscious of being photographed. In this case, the subject should not have a reasonable expectation of privacy as this was shot in a public place.

A very interesting shot to take to focus on what is in the center but also how it slowly, outwardly blurs everything until it is a total blur. And to think it is all done with just tilting the camera at a certain angle. I hope the lady gets to somehow see this picture and yes when we are out in the public we are photographed all over the place nowadays so whether we like it or not we have lost our privacy. Although I think some of the younger people today like being on camera all the time and they put on shows for the cameras. Very sad thing indeed when they become violent.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing such a great picture for this weeks Theme Thursday, it shows a lot of creativity with a camera. I hope you have a wonderful week experimenting with different angles with your camera.
God bless.
