Last Sunday, I reached Kasavanahalli lake around sunrise time in the hope of utilizing the golden hour. The morning, however, was cloudy and overcast. Here are some pics from the two hours of unhurried birding...

The squirrel is cute, here in the Netherlands is the red squirrel, I once posted a blog about it.

That stork is beginning to look like a kind of ibis. Totally different of the storks here in the Netherlands but as always beautiful bird pictures again.

Every week you treat us to the most remarkable photo essay, with amazing birds. I love the little owlet, framed in the branches. It's always a good day birding when you see an owl. The dragonfly-eating photos are great too. I was surprised to see that the lake is close to high-rise buildings just across the lily pond.

ReplyDeleteLol, your photos makes me wish I would be able to travel again. I always thought storks had ugly heads but this Painted Stork is quite beautiful. And it´s feathers really are. :) The Indian spot-billed ducks are beautiful too. I wish they could come to Sweden to visit :) The owl seem to keep watch of you. :) Take care.
