Last Sunday morning, father and son decided to re-visit Hoskote lake in Bangalore to try their luck at spotting birds. They were able to spot some unseen birds and also many other beautiful critters. Here's a photo tour...
Spot-billed Pelicans...
Purple-rumped Sunbird...
Paddyfield Pipit...
Coppersmith Barbet...
Cattle out for grazing...
Juvenile Coot...
Common Greenshank...
Painted Stork...
We wait for elusive birds...
Western Yellow Wagtail...
Many other birding enthusiasts wait patiently for the right moment...
Babul tree...
Indian Robin...
Cattle Egret...
Wood Sandpiper...
White-breasted Kingfisher in flight...
Your photography is always stunning. And I love seeing the birds photos - so vibrant and varied.

I agree with Ann (above) about the painted stork! Beautiful! I also love the Coppersmith Barbet, the White-breasted Kingfisher and the black robin. I've never heard of a black robin! But my favourite photo was of the man taking the cows for a walk!
