Too funny and, definitely, a pretty accurate description, anatomically speaking. I've never seen the flower but, in my 21 years as a sexual assault nurse examiner, I've definitely seen the other!!

I must admit I've never heard of that flower before, but it is rather pretty. I took a floral design class and there was a flower we called a little boy, but I can't remember it's true name. It will come to me after I leave this comment. I know they grow in Hawaii and you might know the one I'm talking about.
Beautiful flower! And I must say it is a fascinating story of how it got its name. I'd like to see the reaction when that name was submitted to the botanical society.

It really does! Besides, it's beautiful. Lovely white for this week's rainbow finale.
ReplyDeleteIt does, except the flower is beautiful. Unllike it's name sake.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the commenters above. Forget the name! It's just a lovely flower.

ReplyDeleteI guess this flower would qualify as the yin to every phallic flower's yang.

This is a truly beautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteSue's comment made me chuckle. Leave it to her to find a little comedy and an eloquent way to phrase it!
