Lalbagh Flower Show 2017


The August edition of the bi-annual flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bangalore will continue till the 15th of this month. 
Here are some flora and fauna I saw on my visit...

The highlight of the Flower Show was the floral replica of Kuvempu's House. Kuvempu was a noted Kannada Novelist, Poet, Playwright, Critic and Thinker...



At the lake, a cormorant got its catch of the year...


The cormorant had to really struggle to eat the big crab...

  5. Those are plenty of photos, really lovely lovely ones. So you have the Phalanta phalanta butterfly too, common leopard. I saw it just once yet this year in my garden. May i know the lens you used for those flowers, maybe f1.4? Love your shots.

  17. An incredible array of exceptional photos. I'm going to have to get more info on the cockscomb. The Ismelia and strawflower stand out in a series of stand outs. Love the cormorant and its big score and the flower house.
